What frustrates you about design agencies?

When you are working in a design agency it is often a good idea to put yourself in your client’s shoes for a while and try and view things from the other side of the fence. If a client does become frustrated then they may not tell their agency but simply take their business elsewhere.

So what are your experiences with your design agency?

We want the ugly truth (no need to name the agency though !). By understanding people’s frustrations we hope to apply those learnings to our own service.

  • unresponsive / too slow to turn around work?
  • not as creative as you were lead to believe?
  • poor quality of work?
  • indifferent or rude staff?
  • expensive?
  • unexpected or unclear charges?
  • missed deadlines or delivery dates?
  • unclear process or schedules?
  • technology issues?
  • not specialist enough in your industry?
  • too much outsourcing used?
